Charity is looking for the perfect forever home.

This post is very emotional for me as I adore this sweet and loving girl. I am not looking for a home for her because she is hard work – quite the opposite – she is one of the easiest beagles we have ever bred and owned.

So, i hear you ask – why are you looking for a forever home for her? We live within city limits and so have restrictions on how many dogs we have. If we want to have a future with Kazuri and our breeding program, we have to place our retired dogs so we can keep the next generation. It does not mean we don’t love or care for her – quite the opposite – I ADORE this girl – it means I am extra careful about the home that she will be placed in. She deserves a safe and quiet place for her to retire in.

What is Charity like? She is easy going and we nicknamed her “Eeyore” – not because she is sad, but because she is slow and ploddy, and loves to sit under the trees and just watch the world go by. She loves sleeping on the couch – if you worked from home she would happily sleep in a bed at your feet all day. She is playful in small bouts – and mostly in slow motion. she does like a good game of chase if there is one going. If you are looking for a hiking buddy, she is not really what you are hoping for.

Charity had a leg injury when she was a puppy. we did rehab, hydrotherapy and chiro, she still has a slight limp. She passed all her health clearances including a hip score of excellent. But I want to be honest that it is there.

She is slated to be spayed early November. I am asking her rehoming fee to just cover her spay and recovery. If you are interested in meeting her or learning more, fill out a questionnaire or email me sarah.sweetman@outlook.com
