We have a couple of 6 month old puppies available to guardian homes. One boy that we are looking for his forever home – we would like to show him to his CH title in 2025, and then he is free to be neutered as he normally would. He is a small 15 (just over 13 inches). We have a girl that is a small 13 inch girl – she has already won a puppy group 1 and 2 and is very showy. I would like to show her and have 2 litters. I am looking for someone to love her and share her with me – i am hoping to find someone local to the Seattle area.
If you are interested in learning more about either of these two situations, please fill out the questionnaire here or email sarah.sweetman@outlook.com
From time to time, we will have a puppy available to a local home on a special contract – some call it guardianship, others call it a co-ownership or a partnership. Really, it is where your dog is part of your family (can go camping, hiking and be a dog most of the time), but is also a part of Kazuri’s breeding program for a time period. The dog may be borrowed a few weekends and be shown to CH title and health tested at Kazuri’s expense, and if deemed to be quality for breeding (not all dogs, even CH dogs are bred from), are allowed for breeding. This evaluation time period takes a few years as the dog will not be fully grown till 2-4. This is a partnership between yourself and Sarah from Kazuri, so you would need to be willing for that to be a possibility.

On occasion, we have adult retirees from our breeding program available. We are so thankful to these dogs for the contribution they have made to our breeding program.
Placing these dogs in forever homes is a difficult decision. It is not done so because we don’t love them. Nothing could be further from the truth. These dogs are adored and we treasure them.
However, if we have any hope of continuing a breeding program, we can not keep all of our dogs. Our city limits wont allow it, and the practical side of accumulating dogs mean that they miss out on the 1:1 time that they deserve. Being 1 of 2 or 3 dogs at your house means they can be spoiled so much more than if they were 1 of 5 or 6 dogs at my house.
If you want to be considered for one of our retiring dogs, there are a few thoughts.
- A benefit of an older dog is that most of the time, they are already house trained, crate trained and can walk on a leash.
- We only rehome our retired dogs to homes with dogs in them. Our dogs are used to being in a pack and so we don’t want them to be solo dogs (unless we state that). So, if you don’t have a dog, or aren’t interested in adopting a puppy at the same time, a retiring dog from us isn’t right for you. Please understand why this is important to us. Our dogs social and their emotional wellbeing will always come first.
Below are our available retiring dogs: If there are no dogs listed, we do not have any retiring dogs available at this time.
