Dutch (aka Int CH AKC BISS GCH Van-Mar N Kazuri’s Brewin’ Up Trouble TKN BCAT)

DOB: July 23 2021

Dutch is a sweet easy going guy.  He is biddable and fun loving – exactly what a beagle should be. Dutch has plenty of bone for his size, but is not too big. His movement is effortless and it is a joy to watch him show.

He is the son of Spencer (BISS CH Ha’Penny’s Too Much Trouble) and our lovely girl Puddin (Aus CH Karakush Proof Is InTh Puddin) from Australia and . It was a litter co-bred between myself and Chelsea from Van-Mar beagles and we were so thankful Dan and Terri allowed us to use some of Spencer’s last frozen semen for this litter.

Dutch is co-owned by Sarah Smith-Falkner, myself (Sarah Sweetman), Chelsea Metteer. He lives with the Smith-Falkner family and we are grateful that they share this handsome boy with us.

Dutch easily finished his CH title with multiple BOV wins over specials. He is the first of his litter to get a group placement with a Group 4 in a very competitive line up of top 20 hounds. He also won his first Beagle Specialty show in June 2023. What a thrill!

Dutch is also working on other titles such as his trick dog, BCAT and lure coursing.

He is growing up a little bit and then we will bring him out to play for some select specialty shows later in 2022/23.
