These sweet little babies are gaining confidence and now use the whole yard as their playground when they are allowed to. I love watching them explore and play. They will be heading off to their new homes way too soon and I am trying to soak up as many puppy cuddles as I can till then
I always say there is no place that is more beautiful than the Pacific Northwest in the Summertime. The dogs love having outside time and the puppies love playing with them (supervised of course). A friend of mine bought this adorable red snoopy house, and so of course, naturally, we had to take photos of the puppies playing in and around it. I just put it in my garden and watched them play in and around it – beagle puppies and snoopy – does it get any better than that??

Cleo’s babies are developing rapidly – I am guessing because they have Mishka’s puppies to watch and imitate.
I took photos of them on the blue chair tonight – they are always some of my favorite photos.

The PNW is having a heat wave and so it has been really nice for the puppies to experience going outside as the shade is even very warm. Cleo’s pups are just 4 weeks old and so have only just begun to explore the great outdoors. Mishka’s 6 week old pups just love it out there – especially when the pack is out and they have someone to chase after. They are surprisingly confident for their ages and love to sniff and walk around – it’s a great start to their socializing outside.

The PNW has beautiful weather and my garden is BLOOMING so i just knew the photos for this week needed to be in front of them. I waited till after a giant play time outside and till the sun went down so around 8pm – they were very sleepy and it didnt take much convincing to have them stay in one spot. I even managed to get them all sitting together.

Cleo and Chevy’s pups are getting stronger and more able to sit up and walk around. They are still pretty sleepy and can’t play for long, but I suspect it wont be too long till they are joined with the other pups for some outside play.
We love this age – so sweet and cuddly and their little puppy growls are to die for

Mishka and Murphy’s pups are getting rolly-ier and polly-ier (thats a real term I know). 🙂 HAHA. No eyes opening yet, but thats okay – I am sure it wont be long. They are strong and well fed – Mishka has been a super mom once again.

Last October, Chelsea and I were given the opportunity to send our young special, Tex, with longtime handlers Mike and Karen Kurtzner to begin a campaign in pursuit of letting him live up to his full potential.
In January, Tex and Mike took their first steps into the ring together and were awarded Best of Variety and a group placement that very weekend! In the months that passed, Tex quickly amassed some great BOV and Group placement wins, making him the #1 fifteen inch beagle in the nation for January and February.
Much to our delight, we also had the honor of exhibiting at this year’s Westminster Kennel Club dog show, to which Tex continued to make more dreams come true – winning Best of Opposite Sex at his very first Westminster.
Campaigning a dog is an incredible privilege and responsibility. It is something we feel incredibly blessed and grateful to experience and, when you have a dog you believe in as much as we do, you have to give them the opportunity to shine.
Campaigning a dog also comes with considerable costs – time, energy, travel, personal life and financial demands. While we had hoped to make the budget stretch until December, it has become obvious that this is not achievable for us at this time.
To this end, Mike, Karen, Chelsea and I talked openly and made the mutual decision that Tex would go to Westminster and then head back to the West Coast to live with me again. While we all felt sad, we also all felt this was the best decision given the parameters we had to work in.
Tex has touched down in California after a little stop with me in Seattle, and is doing great. Mike and Karen took incredible care of him, and he is in top condition, and will be shown by Chelsea as I can.
We are so incredibly proud of all that Tex has accomplished is such a short amount of time. All that would not have been possible without the hard work, dedication, sacrifice, and years of experience that Mike and Karen have poured into our dog. We are so blessed, proud of, and incredibly grateful for them.
… Onto the next chapter! 
Phoenix’s babies are just thriving. My daughter Brianna looked after them while I dashed to NZ to celebrate my Nana’s 90th birthday celebration. She did an amazing job. I am so thankful for her.
They have their eyes open now and are starting to get up on their feet.
