Brie (aka. Hailstorms Allouette)

DOB: June 24 2016

Brie is a confident and happy beagle girl – the first to greet you and eager to please. She was bred by my good friends and mentors Mike and Karen Kurtzner. Brie has been the companion of their great grand-daughter Hailey, whom they live with in Tennessee.  

Brie was never shown – not because she wasn’t worthy or couldnt be finished, but I guess because they never got around to it. Kind of like a builder never building their own house, Mike and Karen really concentrate on handling and showing other people’s dogs and so Brie never had her day in the ring.

However, her conformation and her lovely pedigree with some wonderful old dogs in it was worth a shot at keeping her bloodline going – so Spring 2022 she was bred to our BIS winner Nick. Unfortunately around the same time, Karen was diagnosed with a large tumor on her spine and needed immediate surgery – not an ideal time for puppies. So it was decided that Brie would come and whelp with me in Washington. She has since gone back and now lives with them again in Tennessee – I know she is grateful to be home, even though we gave her a fun vacation time.
