Mia (aka.  CH Foxtail’s Need for Speed RATI TKN)

DOB: May 12 2014

Mia is a sweet spitfire of a girl.  She is the daughter of 2015’s #1 beagle JJ (MBIS BISS GoldCH Foxtail’s Race for the Chase) and full littermate to Madison.

Just like Maddy, we were honored Sheri from Foxtail beagles agreed to entrusting her to our home.  We co-owned her with our mentors Mike and Karen Kurtzner.

Mia tried out a new fun activity called Barn Hunt – Finding Rats in bales of hay. You can find out more about it here: https://www.barnhunt.com/ I hope she can get more titles soon.   She also garnered her Trick Title easily during COVID in May 2020.  

I am very proud that Mia is the mother of CH Hailstorm’s Feeling a little Foxy at Kazuri (Vixen), which also makes her the grandmother to Nick – our multi BIS/BISS GCHS Kazuri’s All I Want For Christmas.  She also is the mother of Violet – CH Kazuri’s Keeping Up Appearances.  While she only had two litters with us, she has made a lasting impact on our breeding program and we are very thankful for that. 

Beautiful Mia is now retired and lives with the Plankenhorn family in Medford Oregon.  She is living her best life on their couch getting lovies and belly rubs and playing with her son Toby.  Yes, you read that right, she got to retire with one of her sons.  <3   Mia will always be loved and adored by us, and we are thankful to her and the legacy she leaves here at Kazuri.
