Our little Vixen is a constant source of fun and entertainment and her latest joy is to spend her days on our Stand Up Paddle Boards with us. She LOVES the water and has even discovered swimming in the shallows of our lake. I have never had a water beagle before so this is all new territory for me. 🙂 She is such a delight indeed.

First points for Emmy and Vixen
The beagles decided that the cavaliers couldn’t have all the fun this weekend and so in 13s Vixen got reserve to a major 2/3 days and a 3 poit major the other day for her first CH points.
Emmy, in 15s, went reserve 2/3 of the days and then won the other day for her first 2 points towards her CH title. And mama Maddy garnered another 5 points (including a 3 point major) toward her grand CH title. She is just 3 points shy away with very limited showing.
Way to go girls 🙂
B’s first weekend as a Jr Handler
B and Sirius debut’ed this weekend as a Jr Handler.
She walked and worked with him with confidence and it looked like they had been a team for months not weeks. to say we were so proud of them was an understatement. I think these two have a bright future ahead of them.
Sirius gets his first points from the Bred By
Sirius got his first points from the “Bred By” class at the Puyallup Kennel Club under judge Dee Hyde.
Momma Arrow got Reserve in a very competitive bitch class and so we have much to be proud of with our black n tan kids this weekend.
Well done Arrow and Sirius!
Ocean Shores
B and I took Sirius to Ocean shores on our “girls weekend” away so she could practice her moves for her first junior handling events at the COPS (Cavaliers of Puget Sound) dog show. They actually make a wonderful team and I cant wait to see them in the ring next week.,
Meet Vixen ~ our newest beagle
Meet Vixen “Hailstorms Feeling a Little Foxy at Kazuri” ~ daughter of Mia. She was our keeper puppy from the litter born at Christmas and raised in California with co-owner and breeders Mike and Karen. We have brought her to Seattle to live and so we can show her. She is sweet and cuddly and still very small. It looks like she might stay a 13 – only time will tell.
Sirius gets Best Puppy
We are very proud of our little man, “Lockestar “Cause I’m Up to No Good of Kaszuri” aka Sirius for getting Best puppy in Show Under the esteemed breeder judge Katie Sloan at the Twin City Specialty show
Well done to Sirius and co-breeder and co-owner Alisha for showing him!! This young boy makes us so proud
FInal days with the cavalier puppies
Now that the cavalier puppies are almost 10 weeks old, we are approaching our final days with them here in our home. In some ways, it seems like a long time and in other ways, the last 10 weeks have flown by in a blink of an eye.
The weather has thankfully been getting nicer lately and so we have been able to enjoy getting outdoors and enjoy the yard outside. The cavalier babies love exploring the yard with the beagles and momma Arrow.
Enjoy the latest pictures of them playing together – possibly the last of them all together as Maggie (now Chloe) will be going to her forever home this weekend.
xo
Cavalier puppies are 7 weeks old
The cavalier puppies are 7 weeks old and we are thrilled with how they are growing and developing. They are growling and pouncing and playing.
Maggie is non stop energy and a ball of fun. Max is reserved and a thinker. Julia is bold and fearless and James is cheeky. Little Dottie (born from Arrow’s sister Penny but being raised with our litter) is a little bit of a Diva.
We are going to do evaluations next week – I look forward to assessing them for show quality.
Beagle puppies have come to visit
Mia’s two boys Kris and TT have come to Seattle for a visit. Kris is going to his forever companion home and TT is going to do some maturing here for a while. We also decided we will keep their sister Vixen as our newest show prospect, so watch this space in the future 🙂
I took some pictures of them this evening – aren’t they handsome boys? they are 4 months old 🙂
