The beagle babies are now fully a part of our family and pack – they confidently eat and play and enjoy life apart from their momma. They have loads of personality and love snuggles. I am so excited for their new families to receive their bundles of joy in the coming weeks.
Enjoy the photos of them on the blue chair this week 🙂
Cleo is Nick and Rosie’s only daughter – she is a beloved pet and an Instagram star @cleo_thebeagle_ig Her family agreed to let me have a litter with her and I chose Chevy (CH Meadowcrest Blew My Mind) as her stud.
Overnight on Monday, she was clingy and whiney and so I slept beside her. In the week hours of Tuesday morning she was restless and shivering a little but no panting or major nesting. She didn’t want me to leave her side and so I started an email sitting close by the whelping pen so she would know I was there, but not feel me hovering.
I didn’t hear a grunt, push or any liquid sounds. My daughter came in to check on us, and peered over the pen and said “there is a puppy in there”. WHAT???? I was less than 2 feet away – I sprung to my feet – the pup was still in the sack and we broke it open and started to rub and get her warm – she started breathing and Cleo pushed out another puppy – they must have been minutes apart.
Baby #1 was a tri girl – 8.9oz
Baby #2 was a red and white boy – 9.3oz
we had a large gap and so under vet advice we gave her a small dose of oxy and she started pushing immediately and we had another boy – thanks to my momma who helped rub them down and weigh them
Tri boy – 9.4oz
and last baby was a blue boy – 10.35oz – just like her mom Rosie she saved the biggest for last. this color is not common since it is a double recessive color, but is part of the standard (just in case anyone wanted to know)
All the pups are thriving and doing great – we couldn’t be more thankful.
Mishka and Murphy’s pups are getting rolly-ier and polly-ier (thats a real term I know). 🙂 HAHA. No eyes opening yet, but thats okay – I am sure it wont be long. They are strong and well fed – Mishka has been a super mom once again.
We love these sweet little boy – our Easter treats. They have all got amazing and loving homes to go to, and we couldnt be more thrilled to welcome new Kazuri families and get a repeat family take a second pup from us. <3
Enjoy their photos – i managed to wrangle individial ones as they were a little tired from being outside.
The Spokane/CDL cluster is fun for us as it’s not too far away and it is where I can spend time with all of my friends who live in Eastern WA and Idaho.

What a weekend to remember, and to experience it all with friends made it 10000% better.
The weather is starting to get more consistent and the puppies love playing with our bog dogs. we have a couple of guests staying while they are shown by me at local shows so just more fun
I was scheduled to go to the Spokane/CDL show, and so I asked a good friend of mine Jamie to whelp Mishka’s litter. She does such a good job and I am grateful to her for being my back up. You can see Mish is totally comfortable with Jamie and her home.
Mishka went into labor in the morning and then had her first baby in the late morning. We got a boy – 9.9oz
Second baby took it’s time – once seen, it was obvious why. A large well marked girl – 12.24oz
Puppy three was another girl – a bi color and weighed in at 11.21oz – still a very good sized pup
Our last puppy arrived around 4pm and was a 3rd girl (yeah) 10.76oz
Mom and babies all are thriving and well. I am so so thankful for these gorgeous beagle puppies to raise and enjoy.
They are bright and bold and doing so well – we love them so so much. This is probably the last time I will be able to take formal photos like this as they feel sitting still is much too boring and there is a whole world out there for them to find things.
Phoenix and Watson’s pups are now 7 weeks old. It rained a bit this weekend so I figured this was a perfect time to do their blue chair photos – and they didn’t disappoint me 🙂
Our sweet cavalier boys are 7 weeks old and we have had the nicest weather. As such, it has given them so much opportunity to play outside and interact (always supervised) with our other dogs. I love how gentle our beagles, cavaliers and golden are with the tiny babies, and how brave the little ones are trying to keep up with the older dogs.
