Can I just say that going to shows and sharing them with friends makes it so so amazing! Community over competition is my favorite saying and I will stick by it – having friends to cheer on and cheer you on makes it all the sweeter.
Okay – where to begin? Some of these dogs we don’t have photos for (yet). I am just going to say a huge THANK YOU to judges Ms Pam Ramey Lambie, Mr Ron Lukins , Mr David Kirkland , Mrs Ainslie Mills and Mrs Betsy Horn Humer for these amazing wins.
Savannah (GCHB Kazuri’s Gonna Be Peachy) went BOSV and then 2x BOV, with a OHG2 to top it off to finish her Bronze GCH and her OG Bronze titles. She is always shown (and very loved) by Malia Throop.
Murphy (RBIS GCHB Kazuri’s Everything’s Gonna Be Alright) went BOV on Firday under Ms Pamela Lambie.
Gypsy (Joyful Noise N Kazuri Just Lace and Paper Flowers) went WB/BOW/Best Opp for her final major and pending AKC is a new Champion shown by the lovely Cheyenne Calvert
Pickles (Kazuri’s Gonna Be a Big Dill) went WB/Best Opp for her 2nd major towards her CH title shown by Jr handler Peter Tae Meziere
Basil (Joyful Noise It Takes More than Fancy Flying) went WB/Best Opp for a major towards her CH title shown by breeder/owner Dolly Metzger-Stearns
Malibu (Kazuri’s Blue Skies over Malibu) went WD/BOW on both days he showed, to gain 2 more majors towards his championship – he just needs a couple of singles to finish after only a couple of weekends in the ring
Callie (GCHB Kazuri’s Everything’s Sugar N Spice BCAT ATT) played in the Juniors and breed ring with her friend Savannah and I loved watching them work more and more as a team together
Lyric went Bpup HoundG1/Bpup BIS her 2nd time in the ring with Dolly!
We had so much fun as a community – one of our RV neighbors even made a point to come over to say how lovely it was to watch the friendship and support and hear the laughter from our spot. That made me just as proud as the wins. Thats what it’s all about.
Not everyone has a supportive spouse and I don’t take for granted that my hubby works his busy FT job and then assists me in all kinds of ways with my dogs and puppies.
So these photos were taken when I did puppy pictures the other day and i wanted to share them – you can see the puppies are just as in love with him as they are with me.
Thank you Steve for being the best “behind the scenes” partner I could ever have.
It has 4 weeks since these beautiful beagle puppies were born and they are confident on their feet. Today I decided, since it was sunny outside, that I would attempt to take photos of them outside.
They were very busy sniffing and walking around so the photos arent the best, but you can see they are growing.
Violet’s little ones tried puppy mush for the first time today and LOVED it – they licked and chomped in and had so much fun. I was very impressed at how quickly they changed from trying to suck it to licking it which is a bit of a skill change.
Now that their eyes are open, I love watching these sweet babies begin to move around and fall over. They love sleeping on their backs with their little bellies in the air, and are starting to growl and play with each other.
Enjoy this week’s photos of our Valentines lovies – this week they will try their new puppy pen with potty box, and mushy food. I can’t wait.
This was a big week for the little beagle puppies as they opened their eyes and are starting to explore their world. I love this stage where they are trying to toddle around on legs that don’t quite work.
Violet continues to do an amazing job and Dolly (from Joyful Noise beagles) couldn’t be happier.
It has been raining and wet and so much of the puppy playtime has been indoors which is fine as we adore these little souls.
I decided to record today one of their play sessions – their little stair set, the cat tunnel, and the crab toy they like to chase – we use all of these things and more to help them be confident little puppies in their new homes. Whether in the ring or on a couch, I want each of my pups to have a solid foundation to be confident in the world.
Harley’s sweet babies are 6 weeks and moved to their big dog area today. They have so much more space and multiple beds along with more toys to play with.
The weather was not too cold today and so we were able to take them outside for their first explore and they did so well. A little complaining but mostly exploring, eating leaves and wandering around sniffing things. I was so proud of their confidence.
These little munchkins are growing up before my eyes and I am so excited by the families who will take them and love them forever.
Enjoy their photos from this week – I did my favorite “blue chair” shots.
