Echo’s beagle puppies are full tiny adults now – they are eating 3 meals a day like champs, starting to use the potty boxes and are fully weaned. Echo is a wonderful mom and is now playmate as they learn biting hurts and limits of how to be a good dog.
Aunty Charity adores the babies too – you will see her in a couple of these photos – we have dubbed her “the nanny” – she thinks they are the best – even if their sharps get her as they try to nurse sometimes.
Rosie’s pups have been growing well – they are up on their feet and exploring their pen. I decided to take them on a little adventure outside – they werent too sure what to think but their little sniffers were in hyperdrive trying to figure out their new world.
My good friend, but small hobby breeder Bonnie Farrell had a litter 2 months ago with her girl Bristol (CH Foxtail’s Fast Curves) and my boy Nick (MBIS MBISS GCHG Kazuri’s All I Want For Christmas CGC TKN)
She has several available but doesn’t have a web presence so that is why I am posting them here
Please contact her directly at: bonfarr@gmail.com. Located in Tacoma WA.
With the weather still being so nice, I decided today was as good as any to let the pups have some time in the sunshine. They are eating well and super strong on their feet.
They were a little unsure at first but their little sniffers got a wonderful workout as they explored the puppy nursery area. Oh how I love this stage so much.
Rosie is being a wonderful momma – her puppies want for nothing as they eat and sleep and eat and sleep all day long. They are growing little little flowers and it was definitely time that I updated their photos.
We also decided on a litter theme. My teen daughter’s fav book right now is “Pride and Prejudice” and so we went with that for our blog theme.
So, without much further ado (see what i did there :P)
The cavalier babies are big enough to go outside, but it has been a bit cold and rainy. Today we had a break in the rain and so we took them outside for their first garden adventure.
They had a lot of fun and especially enjoyed being with the other big dogs but only lasted about 30 minutes before they were shivering and cold so we took them back inside. But all in all it was a successful adventure.
I love these little pumpkins and watching them grow and explore. It’s hard to believe they are 5 weeks old already.

Is there anything cuter than beagle pups at play? I think not. It has been cold and snowy and then rainy and so the babies haven’t had a ton of outdoor playtime. So – when we had a break in the weather today, we made the most of it with a lovely romp in the garden. I love how bold and happy the babies are as they play with the adults. These pups are so confident. These photos are in lieu of their 6 week old photos – I wasn’t able to take the photos as I had COVID and was too tired to take them. I think they are pretty cute regardless – don’t you agree?

I got Covid-19 this week – thankfully I am vaccinated and so my symptoms have been fairly mild – mostly I have been exhausted and so I have been just in “get the basics done” mode. And so, taking photos got put on the back burner until I felt up to doing it.
The babies are growing like beautiful little weeds – they are stronger and playing together. They are running and wrestling and growling and have definitely found their sweet little voices barking with delight when I bring their meals. They LOVE food 🙂 It’s good. They are eating 3 meals a day now and only nursing a few times a day – Charlotte is enjoying becoming more of a playmate than a mommy.
Enjoy their latest photos.

Anytime there is a break in the rain, and it isn’t too cold, we pop the pups outside for a little playtime. The pack loves playing with them too – our son’s 6 month old Golden Shirley is in love with the babies and loves to wrestle with them. For the most part she is very gentle but we stay very close by, just in case.
Grandma Madison and Momma Rosie love to get in the action too. 🙂 Both are wonderful matriachs and teachers of fun and healthy boundaries.
I hope you enjoy these photos of the babies in our gardens tonight – by the time I had finished taking photos, it was getting a little dark (thanks Winter 🙂 ), but you still get the idea.
