Harley and Victor’s beagle puppies are 4 weeks old

Things are starting to really get fun with the puppies becoming animated – they wake up and toddle over when we walk into the room and try to play bite our fingers. They love the new toys in their area and try to drag them around and fight them. it’s really fun to see them and start seeing glimpses of their personalities.

They are all healthy and well after their tummy troubles from last week, and I am grateful to see steady growth from all of them including teeny little Glinda who still is under one pound. It’s crazy to see how much smaller she is than the others, but don’t discount her as she can hold her own – she is tiny but very mighty.

Enjoy their latest photos – the next ones will be almost Christmas and so we shall try to do a little christmasy theme I think

Harley’s beagle puppies are 3 weeks (and a couple of days) old

This has been a big week – the puppies got some kind of tummy bug and the poor sweet babies got vomiting and diarrhea. So we had a few days of making sure they were hydrated and keeping up on calories. Thankfully we seem to be back on track to healthy and so we are on track again.

They are starting to crawl around, and play fight – their tiny growls are just adorable. I love that when I go into visit them, they wake up and come toddling over.

Enjoy the photos of them from this week – a titch over 3 weeks as I wanted to make sure they were safe and healthy.

We definitely have little boys from this litter that will be available in January to go to their forever homes. If you are interested, please contact us.

Harley and Victor’s beagle puppies open their eyes

I love it when puppy eyes open – I know it is one step towards them walking around which is one of my favorite stages. Harley is a wonderful momma and she loves her babies – she keeps them all spotlessly clean.

Enjoy the photos of them from this week showing that they all have their eyes open and are growing well

Charity and Daisy’s beagle puppies turn 7 weeks old

I can’t believe the beagle puppies are 7 weeks old already. It feels like they were just born and now we have to start making some hard decisions about who is going to stay in our breeding program and who will go as beloved pets. Many of these puppies are similar and could potentially be a show dog, but not every puppy needs to be a show dog or bred from.

They are confident, fun, sweet and happy to meet new people. They were seen by a vet and all clear 🙂

Enjoy their 7 week old portraits which I did outside on a rock – poor move as many photos are blurry due to them being so wiggly <3

Beagle puppy portraits on my blue chair

Photos on the blue chair are some of my favorite to do with every litter. They don’t all feel they should be sitting still when they could be playing or exploring or cuddling. But we managed to get a photo of them all 🙂

Love these precious little puppies – they make me very proud. We have a couple of companion boys available if anyone is interested.

Enjoy their 6 week old portraits <3

Beagle puppies play outdoors with confidence

I love that now days, the growth is noticeable even day to day. things that made them nervous yesterday, now have a positive association and their curiosity takes over.

We are using as much of the last of the Summer days as possible and hoping fall will wait just a little longer before coming out too much and bringing the cold days and rainfall.

My older dogs are so curious about the little ones but wont get to meet them til next week, just to keep them all safe.

Enjoy them playing outside for now 🙂

All Hound Club of Bellingham Show

Hound shows are so much fun to attend – the comradery is so fun between the sight and scent hounds. It’s good fun with good friends and we all cheer each other on which is so nice.

This is how the weekend went for the Kazuri dogs – owned/co-owned.

Callie (GCHB Kazuri’s Everything’s Sugar N Spice FDC DCAT) won BOV/BOVOH in 13s both days. Callie is bred by Sarah Sweetman, MIke & Karen Kurtzner and is owned by Sarah Sweetman

New cavalier puppies

There is nothing I love more than to celebrate with others and build community as we love and try to do right by these beautiful dogs we are entrusted with.

I had the honor of placing and co-owning Stella (CH Kazuri’s Diamond In The Sky) with Emma and Amie Adams who have been showing cavaliers longer than I have but never leapt into the breeding side of things. When they mentioned they wanted to start breeding, I was honored to work with them and it has been a pleasure to co-breed a litter and walk them through all the parts from breeding to whelping to dew claws and more.

They are doing a phenomenal job and I am so proud of them. The sire is their lovely boy Granger (GCH BeckWith If the Boot Fits).

If you want to follow the progress of these little poppets, head over to Clairety Cavaliers ❤

Charity and Daisy’s beagle puppies turn 4 weeks old

The beagle puppies are 4 weeks old and using their potty boxes regularly, and eating 3 meals of mush a day. Mommas Daisy and Charity have earned a well deserved break and are nursing as needed a couple of times a day. I think they really enjoy the space as well as being able to care for their babies when they want to.

The puppies are up on their feet and getting stronger every day. I love their little wobbly play sequences and little growls and howls – it’s only a matter of time before we hear a baby bark 🙂

Enjoy their latest photos 🙂

Brinn is our newest Champion

I am so proud of miss Brinn – she lives with her mom and dad in Seattle and they agreed to let me show her. Her first show this year was indoors and she got frightened by some loud crashes and dogs barking – so much so that I pulled her from the ring as I didnt want her to associate fear with the ring. We held her and walked her around and by the end of the weekend she was in her groove.

We have shown her sporadically over the Summer and she garnered 4 majors – 2 of which were going BOS over several lovely specials for 5 and 4 point majors! It seemed when judges liked her, they really liked her.

Brinn will take time off now and will hopefully have a litter for Kazuri in 2025 – stay tuned for that announcement.
