Charlotte’s CKCS puppies turn 4 weeks

I know it’s been a week since I updated you – All the pups are doing well and growing well. They tried their first mushy meal and LOVED it and have continued to eat it. They are walking up on all 4s and playing together.

Enjoy their latest photos I took today.

Phoenix’s CKCS pups are 4 weeks old

I have to say the reminder that Phoenix’s blenhiem girl is staying with a friend till she is a little older (see my previous blogpost) – so we wont have official photos of her for a few more weeks.

However, the 3 i have are doing great – they are eating mushy food now and all well over a 1lb – which is 4x their birthweights – pretty incredible. They are playing with each other (or attempting to at least) and making little squeaks when I go in – I love it.

So enjoy their 4 week photos.

One of Phoenix’s pups is staying with a friend

One of my good friends and fellow breeder, Becky Smith from Beckwith cavaliers, had a singleton puppy a few days after mine were born. So, Miss Farrah from Phoenix’s litter is staying with her until she is a little bigger, so Becky’s puppy has a sibling to grow up with.

Thankfully cavaliers are wonderful moms and usually have no problem trading puppies or nursing one extra. I will miss her but I know she is in really good hands.

Enjoy these cell phone photos of my Farrah and mom Averly with Becky’s baby Evie.

Charlotte’s CKCS cavalier pups turn 2 weeks

Charlotte must have full cream milk – her puppies are growing like little chubby weeds. Their eyes are just starting to open.

Enjoy the photos of them from today

Phoenix’s ckcs cavalier puppies turn 2 weeks

Phoenix’s tiny babies have all doubled in size – while they still look much smaller in comparison to Charlotte’s, they are growing and strong. I love that their faces are filling out and not sharp and skinny like when they were first born.

Anyway – enjoy the latest pictures of these precious little ones.

Charlotte’s cavalier ckcs puppies turn 1 week

Oh my gosh – can I just say how much I like big bonnie babies? Charlottes babies were born big and hungry and they have not looked back. They are pudgy and strong. I am so so grateful to God after all the trouble I have been through over the last few months.

Without further ado, enjoy Charlotte’s yummy boys – she and Ragnar did great together. I named them after the 3 boys (young men) Charlotte lives with.

Phoenix’s CKCS puppies are 1 week old

It has been a week – a good one but a long one. Phoenix’s puppies coming so early meant they didnt have the stamina to nurse and so couldnt get the calories needed to grow. However, with a little support from me, they are growing well and on track.

Enjoy these individual photos of them. We chose the names based on Charlie’s Angels – the original one 🙂

Girl 1 – Farrah – now 7.15oz

Girl 2 – Kate – now 6.3oz

Girl 3 – Jaclyn – now 8.10

Boy – Charlie – now 7.3oz

Christmas at Kazuri with the cavalier pups

We put up Christmas this weekend – we decorated the tree and put up our stockings – the festivities have begun. I couldn’t resist taking a couple of cute photos of the cavalier puppies – Sly is going to his new home today and so it was perfect timing for the very last photos of them all.

Enjoy <3

Phoenix’s CKCS puppies are 9 weeks

These will be the last photos of the babies all together as the boys are heading off to their new homes in the coming. I am so thankful that they went to the vet this week and got a clean bill of health and are strong and ready. (even if they are small – but growing)

Enjoy the photos of them on my famous blue chair

Phoenix’s CKCS pups turn 6 weeks

This was a big week for our little cavalier pups. With the boys back to full health, they were able to move into the dog room – they are enjoying all the new toys, the mini stairs and they have loved meeting the bigger dogs.

We have had a cold and wet spell here in the PNW, and so they haven’t had any outside time yet – I hope this week we might get a few warmer afternoons so they can go outside for a bit.

So – for now, enjoy the pictures of them from today – 6 weeks old.
