Lockestar Puppies come to visit

While Alisha and Susan were away getting Paris MRI scanned, we were on puppy duty for Flame and Penny and their puppies. Of course, I had to take them outside for some quick photos. They are 6.5 weeks old and so sweet.

I think a couple of them are still available and so if you are interested in one, please contact Alisha through: https://anyeazi.wixsite.com/lockestarcavaliers

Allie gets her 2nd major!

I am so proud that after a reserve win to a major, Miss Allie won her 2nd Major win under Hound specialist Mrs Azalea Alvarez at the Coeur d’Alene dog show this weekend. She was piloted by Emma Adams, a wonderful Jr Handler who will be showing her at some of the hound specialties over the Summer as she tries to qualify for Westminster this year. I am so proud of you both!

Our final Photos with Arrow’s Puppies

I know it’s been a while since I have posted. Sorry about that. It’s been busy around here. The puppies are now 11 weeks old and about to go to their new homes.

Well *almost* all of them. We have decided to keep the little Ruby – her name is now Phoenix – so you can watch for regular updates on our new little lovebug <3

Prada is now Remy. Chanel is now Coco and Virgil is now Raliegh. They have the most amazing families to love and cherish them and I wanted to do a final photo shoot before they went home.

I sure will miss them <3

Allie wins her first major

After getting 2 Reserve wins on Friday and Saturday, Allie won winners bitch and Best of Opposite on Sunday under judge Mrs
Christie Martinez for her first points and first major. I am very proud of my little girl – this was her first weekend ever going into the ring. She had a steep learning curve, learning what was expected on the table, how to show her bite, and how to stack on the ground. All within a week or so of landing in the USA.

I am very proud of this little girl. She has some growing up to do, but I think she will also be a valuable part of my breeding program moving forward.

Paris’s puppies are 7 weeks

I got to watch Paris’ puppies for almost 2 weeks while my breeding partner was attending the ACKCS national in Cape Cod. It was wonderful to have them here – to see all 10 puppies interact and bond and play together. Just before they left, they turned 6 weeks and 5 days so I thought I would take their 7 week old pictures for your enjoyment. They are just the cutest aren’t they?

Please note that we are a small, family hobby cavalier king Charles spaniel breeder here in Woodinville which is just north of Seattle, Washington. While these puppies might already be sold, we are taking names for future puppies we have planned. We also have a network of other breeders that we are connected to, so if we dont have a puppy for you, we would be happy to connect you to someone else who might have a perfect furry companion for you.

Arrow’s puppies are 7 weeks

Arrow’s puppies are 7 weeks old. They are really showing off their personalities now. Virgil and Burberry are bold and curious but also up for a snuggle. Prada is very social and like a little shadow – just wants to be where ever I am. Chanel is confident with her siblings, but a little more hesitant in new situations.

Enjoy this weeks pictures <3

Arrow’s puppies are 6 weeks

I cant believe we have made the half way mark – they are full puppies now (with little needle teeth – and they are not afraid to use them :)) HA!

They are energetic, until they crash on our laps and snooze – we love it. When we call them, they run up to us with their tails waggling like crazy and if we dont pick them fast enough, they tell us all about it. They are so social. 🙂

What can I say? They are just adorable.

We will start to look at their structure over the next 2 weeks and then start to look at who might stay and then place the others in their forever homes. It is going to be difficult that’s for sure. I will cherish these final days of not knowing, and just enjoy them blissfully unaware

Cavalier puppy playtime

I have Paris’ litter staying with me while Alisha is attending the American Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (ACKCS) National in Cape Cod with Sirius and Truman. We are of course cheering them on. The exciting part of this is, that I have two litters to play with instead of one this week 🙂

Since the puppies are big enough to play together, they have their own individual pens for sleeping in, but I combine them together for playtime. I have a mini slide and a tunnel for them to play in, as well as a balance board. Its so fun to see them tousle and enjoy the time together

You can also see that Arrow and Paris (and my beagles) are never far away – always watching to see how they can get in on the action as well.

Arrow’s cavalier babies are 4 weeks old

The cavalier king Charles puppies are growing up and boy are they a barrel of fun now. They are eating food 3 times a day (I think that deserves it’s own post next) and for their 4 week anniversary we took them outside for the first time. The weather around Woodinville has been nice lately – (I know – what is up with the lack of rain Washington? I dont know, but if Seattle keeps being like this, our city will keep exploding with people :P) The babies of course LOVED it – probably too much as it was hard to get a photo of them as they wanted to explore and play rather than sit still for silly pictures. Even when they are not sure, their tails are always wagging which I absolutely love. These little ones have beyond captured my heart.

Prada – now 1lb 5oz (still our smallest – tiny but mighty)

Burberry – now 1lb 8.5oz – our most feisty – I love her little growls

Chanel – 2lb 4oz – still our biggest 🙂

Virgil – my cruisy “little” man – often found sleeping on his back somewhere 2lb 3oz

Playtime with momma and the beagles is so much fun – especially when it’s muddy outside
